Here is another statement by spineless Gestapo officer Anuttama das:

June 11, 2020

Dear Devotees, Friends, and Well-wishers of New Vrindaban,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

It is with deep sadness that we share news of the unexpected departure from this world of Venkatachalapati Prabhu, a beloved and respected resident of New Vrindaban.

Venkata, as he was affectionately called, was known worldwide for his kindness to all, his love for cows, and his Nrsimhadeva pujas. During the pandemic, he offered an elaborate, heartfelt Nrsimhadeva yajna daily for forty-five days, chanting the Nrsimha- kavacha prayers and maha-mantra and praying to New Vrindaban’s Sri Nrsimhadeva deity for the protection of devotees around the world.

Venkata had a caring disposition towards one and all, from devotees and guests who eagerly sought his association, to Krishna’s cows to whom he would affectionately offer puja every day without fail. When taking guests on guided tours, he delighted in showing them the hidden treasures of New Vrindaban. He especially loved cleaning the lake because he felt that doing so also cleansed his heart.

It should be noted that Venkata and his wife, Madhava Kanti devi dasi, spoke very kindly of each other. Venkata was Madhava Kanti’s best friend, and he cherished her association.

As required by law, the local authorities are conducting a standard investigation into the cause of death.

It appears that Venkata left a note, and that the contents reveal the nature of his passing. In it he expressed his love for his wife, his parents, and his personal Nrsimha deity. He also requested the New Vrindaban Temple President, Jaya Krishna, to take care of his wife.

We have faith that Venkatachalapati Prabhu is under Krishna’s loving care. The Bhagavad-gita informs us that whatever service we offer to Lord Krishna will never go in vain. Although all who knew Venkata are brokenhearted and will miss his association, we will remember him with fondness and love. Going forward, we can honor him by appreciating the many valuable contributions he made to our community and emulating his loving ways.

We pray that the Lord remembers the decades of sincere service offered by Venkata Prabhu. We also pray that the Lord protects the soul of this gentle Vaishnava and engages him eternally in His loving devotional service.

With deep sadness,
