Srila Prabhupada’s last will doesn’t prove rtvik speculation

This entry is part 2 of 2 in the series Srila Prabhupada's last will

Jesus Christ, this is the first time I defeated a rtvik. He is probably not real rtvik.

So, my friend from the previous article didn’t agree with my explanation, he posted more arguments:

Ok well your basing your conclusion off of a chance and also even if he ok’d initiations it didnt mean in Iskcon and also basically you just stated Srila Prabhupada’s final will for Iskcon doesnt matter then and any Joe Schmo can decide what to do. Ok we’re not dealing with logic here anymore. Case closed.

How can there be a future temple director in 100 years provided he is Srila Prabhupada’s disciple? Which is stated in his final will. I’m sorry you are incorrect sir.

My reply

The final will is a legal document. And the purpose of the will is to transfer ownership. That’s all. But rtviks imagine it to be something else. Rtviks imagine that last will is not a one-time document, they imagine it to be some kind of eternal property guide, which it is not.

So, if I have 4 properties and 10 sons. I can leave my 4 properties to my 4 sons. Then, I can write in my will: “In the event of death or failure to act for any reason of any of the said directors, a successor director or directors may be appointed by the remaining directors, provided the new director is my son.” So, I have 10 sons, 4 received properties, and 6 remained without a property. If any of 4 sons die, one of the remaining sons can be made a director. Such a statement in the last will doesn’t mean that all owners in the future will be my sons or that I think that my sons will live forever. Before their death, new directors will make a new will and transfer the properties to a new owner. That will be a new legal document.

This is how inheritance works.

Reason prevails

Here is a final message from a devotee who initially asked the question:

after careful deliberation on my end you are right. Ritviks are confused with Prabhupada wanting his disciples to carry out his order while he was alive. as he made the order 4 months before passing and needed some sort of system to manage that while he was going through illness. Wow

Jai Radha Krishna

All glories to you thank you for helping me with this.
