Grateful heart (according to Radhanath baba)

Grateful heart (according to Radhanath baba)

According to Radhanath baba, don’t be selective, be grateful for any nonsense quote Radhanath baba serves you. Be grateful for any deviation that he introduces in Prabhupada’s movement. That is the whole idea behind Radhanath’s sheep movement. Follow your counselor, be grateful, and follow Radhanath baba’s nonsense.

This philosophy is completely opposite to Prabhupada’s philosophy. Prabhupada said we should be very selective, and be grateful only to Supreme personality of Godhead, and not for any nonsense.

What grateful soul is there who would not render his loving service to such a great master as the Personality of Godhead? The Lord can be easily pleased by spotless devotees who resort exclusively to Him for protection, though the unrighteous man finds it difficult to propitiate Him. (SB 3.19.36)

Every living entity, especially persons in the human race, must feel grateful for the benedictions offered by the grace of the Supreme Lord. Anyone, therefore, with a simple heart of gratefulness must be Kṛṣṇa conscious and offer devotional service to the Lord. Those who are actually thieves and rogues do not recognize or acknowledge the benedictions offered to them by the Supreme Lord, and they cannot render Him devotional service. Ungrateful persons are those who do not understand how much benefit they are deriving by the arrangement of the Lord. They enjoy the sunshine and moonshine, and they get water free of charge, yet they do not feel grateful, but simply go on enjoying these gifts of the Lord. Therefore, they must be called thieves and rogues. (SB 3.19.36p)

One should feel grateful to the Supreme Personality of Godhead for having obtained such a nice human form of body, and one should properly utilize it. The distinction between an animal and a man is that the animal cannot control himself and has no sense of decency, whereas the human being has the sense of decency and can control himself. (SB 3.31.19p)

Prabhupāda: When I came to your country first, I had no center, I had no… But who has provided all these hundred temples, big, big palaces, temples? Yoga-kṣemaṁ vahāmy aham (BG 9.22). To remain under the protection of Kṛṣṇa you get so much facility. Why not be grateful to Kṛṣṇa? (break) Practically I was loitering on the street, and He has given me so many sons, so many houses, so many protection. Shall I not feel grateful? Is it not my duty? What is this nonsense? Kṛṣṇa gives everything, and “No, no, I don’t believe in God. God is dead.” All rascals. All rascals. Nonsense rascals. Who denies God, he is a nonsense rascal, immediately. Mūḍha.

  • Nishtha Purna Das

Haribol Hanuman Das, I read that you replied in my early comment that you’re posting these memes out of popular demand from people from Bangalore and also your author. Which is fine. But why did you ban me? Did I do anything wrong? You don’t know how it feels to get banned? So why you did it to me?

    • Hrvoje Marjanovic

Your comments are nonsense, and you didn’t quote Prabhupada even once. Now I will ban you again.

      • Nishtha Purna Das

No… please don’t ban me. My Krishna Consciousness is dependent on this website. Otherwise I’ll never achieve the love of Godhead. Here, let me quote Srila Prabhupada for you:

“A saintly sage sees with equal vision and therefore is not affected by that which is materially good or bad. Indeed, although he observes others performing good and bad work and speaking properly and improperly, the sage does not praise or criticize anyone.” – SB 11.11.16

“A conditioned soul desires to lord it over material nature and thus criticizes another conditioned soul whom he considers inferior. Similarly, one praises a superior materialist because one aspires to that superior position, in which one may dominate others. Praising and criticizing other materialistic people are thus directly or indirectly based on envy of other living entities and cause one to fall down from sva-artha, one’s real self-interest, Kṛṣṇa consciousness.” – Purport (SB 11.28.2)

        Happy Now?

        • Hrvoje Marjanovic

Go to your buddies, whoever sent to you to create trouble on my website and tell them I am not stupid.

          • Nishtha Purna Das

I don’t have any buddies or friends. No one likes me.

    • Hrvoje Marjanovic

Plus, you are using fake profile. If you are so brave, show me your facebook profile and tell me where you live. Be open like me, but instead, you are sending me nonsense through anonymous profile.

      • Nishtha Purna Das

You are brave. So I follow you. I’m not brave. You are right. Not everyone is the same. But does it mean I have no right to be a part of the society? How can you reject or ban me just because I’m weak? On the other hand, it’s my great honor that you wanted to know my personal details.

        • Hrvoje Marjanovic

You don’t follow me, you are constantly bothering me with you comments. You are also subtly undermining my work, by calling me not truthful. You also call me “Hanu” What is this nonsense? Your commenting rights have been revoked, you are free to read the articles and stay quiet.

          • Nishtha Purna Das

            Ba-Ba Boo-Boo… ok I can still comment.

I’m sorry if you feel that I’m bothering you. All I tried to tell is how much I dislike seeing Radhanath Swami quote memes everyday in your page. Remember? That’s all. I never commented in any of your other posts knowing that those are serious ones. I have had some incident with him you can put it that way. That’s a very sad story, he didn’t do much, but I was hurt very deeply. Maybe I was too sensitive. I called you “Hanu” to get your attention. I’m very young and I didn’t realize that you’ll get offended. I thought it’d sound funny as to add ‘Hanu’ with ‘man’ it’d become some kind of a super hero. So I apologize for that. I hope you won’t keep any hard feelings for that. I shouldn’t have said that. I’m sorry. Calling you not truthful was because you said you will not post Radhanath Swami memes anymore and you did. I was a little upset. I’m sorry again. Being totally honest with you, my real intention was to make friendship with you. But I guess I do not fit to this world or society. I’m sorry for my actions and unless you don’t want I won’t comment anymore. Please forgive me. Haribol.

There is an ongoing process of Americanization within ISKCON. Turning everything into a profit-oriented business — forming of parties, social injustice, zonal acarya system remained, etc. Lectures became seminars with costs, kirtans became KIRTAN MELA RETREAT with costs. Formerly brahmacaris could sleep in the temple free of charge, now thereis a guesthouse — online booking says “Enter your payment information. By clicking on “Confirm booking” you agree to the terms …” So all this happened because of leaders taking control of the buildings. Prabhupada wanted Brahmins who simply focus on preaching. Now these Brahmins are seen struggling to maintain their private homes. Practically in the West there is no preaching, book distribution became a showmanship so that “old traditions are not disappearing”. This year Mayapur wil be number one in Christmas book distribution marathon, last year they were second. As if Prabhupada wanted that book distribution is diminishing in the West and expanding in India? Radhanatha Baba refuses to spread KC in US and wants to become an Indian resident, why? Are Indian devotees not intelligent enough and require help from outside?
